Here is a 1950s Matchbox 53 Aston Martin DB2-4 Mk. 1. This is 53a which first came out in 1958.

The paint - The metallic green body and black base appear to be perfect to me.

The transfers - None.

The wheels - Grey metal wheels on rust free axles.

The box - This is the 1958 long "A Moko Lesney" box, which has a black number on the end flaps. There is a small crease on the brown side. One yellow side has the price written on it. There is very little edge wear. All of the flaps are fully attached. It is a clean very near mint box.
