This is a Vintage Schrade NY USA #808 3 Blade Folding Pocketknife with a Peanut Shell Bone Handle that looks real but could be a composite material. The knife is Made in the USA.
Features: Schrade 808 Pocketknife Made in the USA.
1. Master Blade 1-3/4" Carbon Steel blade; front tang says "Schrade USA", rear tang says, "808".
2. Blades #2 & #3 - 1-1/4" & 1-1/8" Carbon Steel. All blades have minor darkening common to carbon steel (see photos).
3. Overall length closed 2-3/4".
4. Handle is a brown peanut shell bone looks real but may be a composite material; the Schrade badge is in its place and says, "SCHRADE; the bolsters are shiny with little wear and the side liners are solid brass (see photos).
5. No Sheath or box supplied.
6. All blade edges look original and not been sharpened (see photos). The master blade has had the tip of it broken off but with a little honing a new tip can be accomplished.
7. All of the blades are tight no wiggle and have good snap.
Note: This knife is vintage but appears to have had little actual use. It has been wiped down with a clean, dry, soft cloth but we leave cleaning and patina removal to the purchaser. It is without a box or sheath. Any defects we noticed were listed, but we do not assign a level of condition. You must see all of the photos which are considered a part of this description (use the eBay zoom-in tool) and make your own decision regarding blade and handle conditions; ask questions for anything you see or don't see before you decide to purchase this knife, because once shipped, the knife cannot be returned or refunded even because of the broken tip in the master blade.
