Scarce early MkII OS FS 60 open rocker rc glow engine, the machined head and carb version.

You rarely ever see one of these earlier second versions of the OS FS 60 open rocker fourstrokes for sale, people refer to these as the MkII version which still had the machined from solid aluminium head (not a cast cylinder head as on the third and most common version of these open rocker OS engine's) and still has the machined carb as per the original Mk1 version.

The rockers are made from steel as the original MkI aluminium rockers wore out quickly.

This engine is a very good usable early version, it's in beautiful condition with silky smooth bearings and superb compression. This was fitted to my Dad's vintage rc Keilkraft Falcon model and has been used, but kept in lovely clean condition. There is no damaged or broken fins either.

Comes with it's box, OS feeler gauges to set the inlet and exhaust valve clearances and a set of instructions for the OS FS 60 MkIII version, but these instructions are perfect applicable to this engine.

Listed as used, a superb running example of these gorgeous open rocker fourstrokes, this engine is over 50 year's old now.

Please study the picture's as they form part of the engine's description and condition.
