Rare 1977 Otto Bernhardt OS MAX 15 rc Spark Ignition Petrol engine, new in box.

These are very rare, you won't see another OS MAX 15  like this one!

Turns over smoothly, no visible damage what so ever, has good compression too.

One of Otto's beautiful spark ignition conversions which he was well known for, this time a cute little OS MAX 15 rc engine has been converted.

I'm sure Otto would have test run it before despatch, so listed as used, but it's been sitting in my Dad's collection for a long time and has never been mounted or run in my Dad's ownership, just displayed inside his engine cabinet.

Comes with it's exhaust still sealed in a bag, looks to have never been used, a spark plug ignition lead is supplied and the original OS prop driver is included (that was removed to facilties the spark ignition conversion).

Comes in it's original OS box, Otto always tapped the boxes shut with some sort of glassfibre reinforced sticky tape, it's left a tiny bit of residue on the bottom edge of two sides of the box.
