Thrifting find. Streets Ahead Black reptile-embossed leather belt with metal Greek Key pattern, decorative hardware screw hinges, and chain gold-color accents. Made in California by upscale Santa Monica company Streets Ahead. I couldn't find anything else like it online so I don't know if it is vintage or newer. As for size, there is an "L" stamped on the back. There is also the number 51900, which may be the style number. From the middle fastener hole to the prong is 34." So, depending on how you want to wear it, it would fit a 34" waist, or if you're a smaller size you could wear it loose, or low on the hips. There are three holes to adjust the size. Overall length from end to end is just over 40 inches. Three sections of leather are attached by Greek Key gold hardware with decorative screw-shaped elements. A decorative screw with attached double chain goes through the front fastener to hold it in place. It's kind of hard to describe, but hopefully the pictures will help show how it works. The only issues I could find were some light scuffing on the leather tip at the end of the belt, and a small area in the Greek Key pattern that is missing a bit of black color. Shown in the last two pictures. Otherwise, the belt looks practically unworn. Please take a look at the photos, and let me know if you have any questions. Shipped in a cardboard box via USPS Ground Advantage. Thanks for looking.
