This is a Philips Pocket Memo 398 MiniCassette Voice Recorder (LFH0398). This will work with MiniCassettes but not MicroCassettes. A voice recorder is also sometimes known as a dictaphone - it is used to record audio (e.g. dictation, lectures, notes, interviews, etc) onto a cassette which can then be played back at a later date.

Will my cassettes work in this unit?
This unit uses MiniCassettes. It will play and record on MiniCassettes. MiniCassettes are easily confused with MicroCassettes. If you are unsure what type of cassette you have, please check the size of your cassette:

• A Mini-Cassette measures 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" (55mm x 33mm)
  
• A Micro-Cassette measures  2" x 1 1/2" (50mm x 33mm)

If you inadvertently purchase the wrong type of voice recorder, please contact me and I can arrange an exchange for the correct type.

May I collect the item in person?

Yes, you may use the eBay Click and Collect service (UK only) or if you live near me (I am in Co Armagh, Northern Ireland, UK), please check out and pay online as normal and then contact me to arrange collection in person (no courier collections).
