Item For Sale:  A very nice AMPRO TTP-S with great controls.  A very sweet unit.  If you are an audio fan, you will know more about this unit that we do.  We are not audio people so we are describing this as best we know how.  This appears to take L & R audio inputs (via rear panel RCA Jacks) and then process those inputs to feed the station console or input compressor.  As you adjust the level, It adjusts the signal on the outputs.

From the web:  Ampro's circuit design uses a discrete two-transistor preamp with TIS97s. That is followed by a 709C line amp whose output connects to a Class AB complimentary push-pull output stage with 2N3053/2N4037s. From here, the audio goes to an output transformer.

The construction is analog component based and so should be easy to service.  Plus, the IC's are socketed for plug-n-play
exchange.  The circuit board is G10, covers are steel and the build is as close to mil-spec as you can get for this era.  Again,
all we can report is good physical condition, that it is a unit that does power up and it passed a headphone test.  Buyer will have to further test and service as required.  The internals are very clean and very nice.  No signs of tampering or mods or repairs. The whole design & build reminds me of the Pre-73 Golden Age units.  Well done.

This preamp is using discrete parts most of which are identifiable and manuals for this are available all over the web including eBay..  Any experienced audio guy should do well with this preamp.

Condition & Terms:  The unit powers up, passed signal but is otherwise untested because we have no facilities for evaluating something like this.  This item is sold strictly as is and is not returnable.

Shipping:  Will be shipped as safely as possible.
