You are looking at a rare Heuer watch. This watch predates the merger that eventually led to TAG Heuer. This is the black faced Tag Heuer 980.038 women's 1000 professional watch. This is a new old stock watch. This watch is a true survivor. I am a Tag Heuer collector and I own over 225 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. It is the women's size tag watch with a case size of about 28mm (32mm crown included). The crystal is in perfect condition with no scratches. The back casing is in excellent condition with fine scratches. The clear factory sticker is still attached to the back casing. The bracelet is the original black rubber band. It is in near mint unworn condition. The stainless steel tang buckle is in excellent condition with fine scratches. The Heuer tag is still attached to the band. The bezel is in perfect condition. This is probably the nicest ladies Heuer 1000 I have ever seen. I would rate this true survivor as a near perfect 9.8 out of 10 in condition. The band will fit a 7.25 inch or smaller size wrist. Bezel turns and clicks in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. It is quartz movement and 200 meters water resistant. I always recommend having seals tested before wearing in water. Due to the age of this watch I would not recommend wearing in water. Please see all of my other Tag Heuers for sale. I have men's and women's tags that are new and used in all price ranges. Watch comes with the original TAG Heuer plastic cube case & TAG guarantee booklet. Plastic case is in very condition with interior rubber peeling (normal).
