A lovely 1880s Silk Satin morning dolman with a jet jewel clasp at the neckline. This is in remarkably good condition for the age. The silk is not dried out and nothing is splitting, breaking.  The fabric feels soft and supple. In the front, it looks like there's a little area of lace that needs to be tacked back up again. I really don't see any tears in the lace either. This is just a really nice piece that's in really nice condition, which is so rare.

There are a few areas where there's a little bit of color loss, but it could be touched up with like a fabric dye marker. Few hooks need to be put back in. And the inside waistband is missing.

Payment

It is the buyer’s responsibility to follow through with payment within 2 days of auction end unless other arrangements are made.
