"Error's Chains - How Forged and Broken" by Frank S. Dobbins - 1883. Condition is Good, especially for its age, way better than "Acceptable", and way better than some of the others on sale here on Ebay from 1884 and onward trying to be fobbed off as "First Editions"!

Leather binding. Gilded page edges and gilded embossed cover and spine texts. Ribbed spine. Covers have some wear but spine and binding are intact, book is solid. 785 pages, including index. Previous owner's inscription of "Edwin B. Hawkins. Pawtucket, R.I." on inside facing page. PROFUSELY ILLUSTRATED with hundreds of beautiful drawings and engravings, covering world religions in North America, South America, China, Japan, India, Africa, the Polynesian Islands, and more.
