Charlton presents the comic-book adventures of the seemingly immortal crime-fighter called The Phantom.

This issue features translated Phantom stories from Italy's Avventure Americane-L'Uomo Mascherato.

In a two-part story, The Phantom boards the Gluma Rajah's yacht to implore him to stop impoverishing his people with exorbitant taxes. But before he can succeed, modern-day pirate Strangol and his beautiful blonde sidekick Linda hijack the yacht with a submarine to steal the Rajah's treasury.
