When Should You Use Ice Blue Rub?

You can use this blend for a wide variety of joint, bone, and muscle aches. It is excellent for pain relief in muscles, joints, and bones. Some examples of things deep BLUE can help with are a pulled muscle, sore muscles from a hard workout, a sprained ankle (or wrist or other joint), arthritis pain, or a really deep bruise.

How Can I Use Ice Blue?

ICE BLUE RUB is most effective when used topically, directly on or over the area you are trying to affect. For example, if you have arthritis in your hands, you would want to apply it directly to your aching joint. If you pulled your hamstring, you would want to apply it directly to your hamstring. Or if you have an achy back, you want to apply it directly over your back.

A few places we would not recommend using deep BLUE: the eyes, and other sensitive skin areas, as it may leave a cooling/burning/tingling sensation that may be unpleasant.

Less is more when it comes to this product.

The best benefits are derived when the rub is applied 3-5x/day in small quantities over the affected area- especially if you are using it for a more chronic issue like arthritis.

A few quick notes about using this blend: it contains “cool” oils like peppermint and wintergreen, and should be used sparingly only on the area you are trying to affect.  Make sure you wash your hands after applying it before touching your face, eyes, or other sensitive skin areas—it is a cooling oil and may leave a burning or tingling sensation on sensitive areas.  A little bit goes a LONG way!  When using the rub (it has a lotion-consistency), about a 5 cent size of the cream in your hand will cover an 20cm diameter or more on your body.

If you have sensitive skin, you may want to try applying it to a small region of your skin to make sure you don’t have a reaction to the oil. As always, exercise caution when using this oil on babies and children, and always practice dilution when using oils on babies and children.
