We did not completely test this camcorder. We did charge one of the batteries, and the camera powers on as can be seen on the monitor/screen in one photo. We do not have a compact VHS tape to test this with, so we can't guarantee it is fully functional, and are selling as-is, with no returns. Your purchase acknowledges this.
