Olympus OM-1 silver body with Zuiko 50mm, 1.8 lens. Film tested - working.

Shot a roll of b&w film and everything seems to work as it should. Not much wear for a camera that's around 45-50 years old. Mostly worn bottom plate and some worn off paint on rear door. Silver metal pretty clear all over.

I could see some light leaks in the first handful of photos on the roll. Other than that the photos came out pretty well exposed (see sample photos). Light seals and mirror dampening foam are worn out and not good on vintage cameras - should be replaced.

The original 1.35 v mercury battery for this camera is no longer in production. There is a 1.44 v battery in the camera now. I used the exposure meter pretty much as intended, adjusting the aperture and shutter speed so that the needle is positioned in between the plus and minus sign (left hand side in the viewfinder).

The lens looks ok, aperture works as it should and clicks ok. Glass looks mostly nice, but some dust inside and a small spot on rear glass. Smooth focusing ring. Comes with a 49mm Skylight filter and non-original lens cap. Some digits are engraved in the metal on the rear of the lens.

- Viewfinder is ok - bright and focusing using the micro prism and split screen. A few minor dust spots and hair lines visible.

- Self timer works properly.

- Exposure meter works.

- Shutter speed ring works as it should and all the shutter speeds seem correct as far as I can assess.

- Film counter resets as it should when you open the back.

Comes with Skylight filter, flash shoe, non-original lens cap and battery.
