You are bidding on a young pair of A. hartii, a large rivulus species where both males and females are colorful! The body shows blue iridescence with rows of red spots, with yellow and black in the fins. In a paludarium setup, you will see the fish hanging out on the land portion, basking and sometimes hunting for food on land. These are trained to eat flakes, but greatly benefit from live foods! I originally bought these 20 years ago as 'Rivulus holminae' (a misspelling of R. holmiae.) It has since been discovered that true holmiae have never been in the hobby, and the fish circulated under that name were actually A. hartii. I'm very grateful to Fred Behrmann (from whom i originally got these fish) and to Tom Grady for their help tracking down the history of this fish, which i'll share below:

These fish were captured in Trinidad-Tobago, and maintained and distributed for decades by Hans Behr, president of Montreal Aquarium Society. He got them in the 1950s or early 60s when they were thought to be R. holmiae. True holmiae was found in Guyana and described by Eigenmann. It wasn't until the 1980s that it was reidentified as Rivulus hartii (I believe by Dr. Glen Collier), based on genetics. The fish in the hobby was originally found on the island of Trinidad and is actually A. hartii, having been reclassified from Rivulus to Anablepsoides.
