This is a very gently pre-owned and very lightly used, if at all, premium-quality point-of-view camera system from V.I.O.  This is the POV.HD ADVANCED POINT OF VIEW CAMERA SYSTEM, 1080p HD.  AN online description says “The POV.HD Advanced Point-of-View 1080pHD Recorder is a wearable camera system that can capture high-quality video footage with a resolution of 1080p at 30fps. The camera head features a 142-degree wide-angle lens and a native 1080p CMOS sensor designed to produce optimal-quality, Full HD video. The device is also equipped with a wireless remote control and offers in-field editing and exposure control features. The camera is shockproof, waterproof (up to 1m/30min), and dustproof. The device is powered by 4 AA batteries and comes with a carrying case and mounting solutions. The POV.HD is a versatile and rugged camera system that can be used in a variety of settings. It is ideal for capturing point-of-view footage during outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing, as well as for recording action sports such as skateboarding and snowboarding. The device is also suitable for use in professional settings such as filmmaking and journalism”.  This item was obtained in a living estate sale lot and was one of several systems originally purchased for a project that was cancelled.  It has been used very little, if at all.  It is in perfect cosmetic and mechanical condition with the exception that the insulation on the camera cable is deteriorated.
