This rare pre-De Must Cartier Tank watch from the 1970s is a luxurious and formal timepiece perfect for any occasion. The gold plated case and black leather strap give it a sleek and elegant look, while the white and black dial with Roman numerals adds a touch of classic style. There is wear to the finish on the dial as seen. With a buckle closure and snap caseback, this watch is both secure and easy to wear. The 12-hour dial and 17 jewels make it a reliable and practical choice, and the 5mm case thickness and 23mm case size ensure it won't be too bulky on any wrist. There is wear of the plating on the edges of the case. Whether you're a watch collector or simply looking for a unique accessory, this Cartier Tank watch is a must-have.  The movement is marked 2515 on the base and engraved with the Cartier logo on the bridge plate.  However, the movement will run for a few seconds and then stop.  The watch will likely need a cleaning to ensure proper operation.  The hands are blued in colour.  The crown may not be original to the watch. There are service dates etched into the case back with dates of '79, '91 and '06. Watch is being sold in 'as is' condition.
