Phillimore's Registers
These registers do not cover all parishes or complete dates, this depends on the surviving registers and the ones Phillimore collected, so there may be some omissions. The transcriptions are of marriage registers only. In some counties, the coverage of parishes is very good,  in other counties just a few parishes were transcribed, most counties do not have every parish transcribed. As with any transcription it is advisable to verify the original parish registers which may also contain additional useful information.
(Some parishes may have been counted into total more than once where separate transcriptions of different registers for various dates have been transcribed, particularly when they occur in different volumes)
