Fully Play Tested, Vintage 6 LP Lot #209: Christmas Records Variety from the 1960s and 1970s with Five Still In Shrink-Wrap

This lot contains six wonderful Christmas LPs that were all cleaned and then fully play tested. Notes concerning condition and sound quality can be seen below. The sound quality is mostly excellent on these records with some tolerable background record surface noise on some. The music is in a country/folk style for the most part with some rock 'n roll thrown in for good measure. See further comments below where each album is described.

Visual Record Condition: The visual vinyl condition varies from VG to Near Mint. Individual LP grades are shown below. The records are all still glossy with varying amounts of surface scuffs / scratches. Ticks and clicks are heard sometimes, but the records play with no skips or sticks and provide a very satisfying listening experience.

Record Labels Condition: The record labels look great.

Jacket Type and Condition: One of the album covers is in VG condition, one is in VG+ condition and four are in EX condition. Five of the jackets still have shrink wrap on them. All of the jackets are still visually pleasing and have been placed in brand new, protective poly outer sleeves to help prevent further wear.

Inner Sleeve Type and Condition: All of the LPs are in original inner sleeves that have mostly light wear and some age-related discoloration around the edges.

The Albums In The Lot:

Brenda Lee - Merry Christmas - 1980 MCA reissue of the 1964 Decca album. Vinyl Condition: Graded VG+. The surfaces are glossy with some light surface scuffs. The record plays with superb sound quality. Background record surface noise is negligible - barely heard. Cover Condition: The album cover looks real nice and is graded VG+. The original shrink wrap is still attached. There is minor corner wear and what looks like a moisture stain at one of the lower corners. The spine text looks great.
Christmas With Chet Atkins - 1976 reissue of album originally released in 1961. Vinyl Condition: Graded high-end VG. The surfaces are glossy with some light surface scuffs and a few light scratches. The record plays with great sound quality. Background record surface noise is heard as a mild crackle with occasional ticks/clicks. The music is largely instrumental with choral embellishments and occasional choral singing. Cover Condition: The album cover looks great and is graded EX. The original shrink wrap is still attached, although there is a tear in the shrink on the top edge. There is light corner wear. The spine text looks great.
Various Artists - Wishing You A Merry Christmas - 1972. Vinyl Condition: Graded VG+. The surfaces are glossy with some light surface scuffs. The record plays with excellent sound quality. Background record surface noise is minimal. Cover Condition: The album cover looks great and is graded EX. The original shrink wrap is still attached. The spine text looks great.
John Denver - Rocky Mountain Christmas - 1975. Vinyl Condition: Graded VG. The surfaces are glossy with some surface scuffs and light scratches. The record plays with excellent sound quality in the music. Background record surface noise is is heard as a mild crackle with occasional ticks and louder clicks here and there throughout. Sometimes ticks persist for a little while - like at the start of each side - before subsiding. If you don't mind a little surface noise, the record still provides a very enjoyable listen. Cover Condition: The gatefold album cover looks good and is graded VG. There is mild general wear, some ring-wear and moderate edge / corner wear. The spine text looks fine. The inner sleeve has a tear at the bottom of the die-cut center hole on one side.
Floyd Cramer - We Wish You A Merry Christmas - 1967 issue originally, but this may be a 1970s reissue. Vinyl Condition: Graded VG+. The surfaces are glossy with some light surface scuffs. The record plays with excellent sound quality. Background record surface noise is minimal. Light ticks are heard occasionally, but not bad or bothersome. The music is instrumental. Cover Condition: The album cover looks real nice and is graded EX. The original shrink wrap is still attached, although there is a tear at the top and a good-sized piece missing from the back. The spine text looks great. The inner sleeve has a couple of tears around the die-cut center hole.
Christmas With Danny Davis And The Nashville Brass - 1970. Vinyl Condition: Graded Near Mint. The surfaces are glossy with hardly any marks. The record plays with superb sound quality. Background record surface noise is minimal. A few light ticks were heard, but not very many at all. The music is instrumental with vocal accompaniment. Cover Condition: The album cover looks great and is graded EX. The original shrink wrap is still attached. There is only light corner wear. The spine text looks great.

Shipping Notes: Several different shipping service options are available for you to choose from at check-out. I generally pack and ship items sold right away and hand them over to the post office at the earliest opportunity (sometimes same day, sometimes next day). Don't worry. These records will be securely packed for safe shipping.

LOCAL PICKUP RULES: If Free Local Pickup is offered for this item and you choose that option instead of an option to have the item shipped to you, there are a few rules to be aware of. We both have to allocate time to make a pickup work smoothly, so please understand the local pickup rules.

Don't choose free local pickup if you live far far away, but think you might be in the area someday. That won't work. Pickup arrangements will always be made for a specific date and time, very close to the purchase date. Please don't ask me to hold something for extended periods of time.
Pickup arrangements will be made after payment is received for the item. I will specify a location to meet.
Payment must be made through eBay as soon as the item is purchased, just like for items shipped though USPS or UPS. No payments will be accepted in person. Failure to pay for the item in a timely manner may result in order cancellation.
eBay provides a method to confirm the item has been picked up. At the time of this writing, that method is a QR code plus a six-digit code that can be found by looking at order details or in an email from eBay. YOU MUST BRING THE PICKUP CONFIRMATION CODE WITH YOU FOR EVERY ITEM TO BE PICKED UP. I can't hand over the item(s) without first scanning the pickup confirmation code(s). The codes can be printed or can be presented on your phone (eBay app or email).
Items purchased for local pickup must be picked up in a timely manner, preferably the day of purchase or the next day. If you need more time than that to pickup your purchase, we must make arrangements before the item is purchased. Orders not picked up in a timely manner, as described, are subject to cancellation and the item will be relisted for sale.
Failure to show up for the arranged pickup meeting will result in order cancellation.

If appropriate I will add insurance coverage. Sometimes I will add signature tracking (USA) when your item is shipped. Signature tracking ensures that the postal service doesn't leave your valuable item unattended on your doorstep out in the sun or rain - it has to be handed over face to face. If you order something rare and/or worth a bit, be prepared to have to accept delivery in person.

When multiple items are shipped together, I can almost always give you a better deal on the shipping cost compared to the individual shipping costs. I promise to give you the best rate possible based on the items purchased and the shipping method required.

For "Buy It Now" items (most of what I offer), simply add each item that you want to your shopping cart. When ready to commit to buying, request a total from me from your cart and I'll send an invoice as soon as I can. Since I'm not a computer and I do other things like sleep and take the dogs for walks, you might not receive an immediate response, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you decide to pay for items you want individually instead of requesting a total from the shopping cart, I will promptly send back whatever money I can for a shipping discount.

Some items are not compatible for combined shipping.
Combining shipping might require changing the shipping method or increase packaging materials expense.
A few items that I offer are not eligible for combined shipping.
Of course it is ok to ask about combined shipping costs up front. You have to tell me exactly what you intend to buy and where it will be shipped. I can't always give an exact cost, but I can at least give you an estimate.
