This ceramic Bowl with Lid was produced by Gustavsberg in Sweden and was designed by Josef Ekberg (1877-1945)  who worked at Gustavsberg from 1889 until 1945.

This covered Bowl has grey-blue-brown glazes on the body that is reminiscent of marble. There is a gold coloured paint applied to this piece for enhancement. A gold coloured design is also applied to the interior.

The dimensions of this Ekberg Bowl is: Height  7.25 cm. (2.75 ")  Width 9 cm. (3.5 ")  Weight 255 gm. (9 oz.)

The identifying marks on the bottom are Gustavsberg with the Anchor. Ekberg's mark is also on the bottom as well as number 36 and N-91

This Ekberg Bowl with Lid is in very good vintage condition. Please note there is a small nick on the upper edge of the lid. Please view photo #8 to see this area. Please view all photos to determine condition.
