Please note that this small serving bowl is not necessarily Old Paris Porcelain, but has many similarities with that style.

There is a stain on the rim, a small crack on the rim of the bowl, and a couple of dark spots (possibly paint?) under the glaze. There is a spot on the lid where the paint is smudged. There is a red stain on the bottom of the footed part of the bowl.

It is part of a set of dishes that I purchased at an estate sale. The lady told me that they had been her friend’s mother’s dishes and she thought that they were old (the friend was in her mid 70’s). That is all I have been able to discover about their age or maker. There is a tray that has a number impressed on the back, but none of the other pieces have any identifying markings. If you have any insights on their origin I would love to hear them!

Please check my other listings for the rest of the dishes. And if you are interested in purchasing the whole set please contact me with your zip code for a shipping quote. Thank you!
