Up for bid is a vintage cast iron light source optical light rail with filter mounts and rail mounted. This instrument is right out of a 1950’s laboratory. It weighs ten pounds. If you want to be blinded forever, find the power supply and hook it up to the lamp with the house door open. Better yet, shine the beam up to the clouds, (NOT AIRPLANES). The lamp is a halogen high pressure lamp aligned with a lens and optical filter train. It has a sweet vernier rack to adjust the focus. It is mounted to a long rail called an optical train. There are many devices and lenses on this rail for optical experiments 1950’s style. The lamp measures 19" x 15". It looks to be in very good condition except the lighthouse. The lighthouse has black crinkle paint on aluminum sheet. The lamphouse is hot, the paint flakes off. All the rest of this laboratory survivor looks very good. It will operate. Do not do this. I hope I explained what this lab curiosity is all about. I am open for all questions.  Shipping is $38. I do professional packing for free. (I ship antiques). I return over ship money.  No warranty implied or offered.Three day pay. No overseas please. Thank you for viewing my auction.
