Great hanging scale with patent date of Dec 10, 1867. Weighs up to 24 pounds. Spring and scale mechanisms work smoothly. Heavy patina ~ leaving any cleaning to the buyer. Overall length is approximately 8 1/2”. Paint loss on back as shown. There are minor corner bends also shown.
