ITEM : 4) STAMPS REVENUE TIMBRE NACIONAL B/0.01 Cent Panama City Canal Zone GREEN & ENVELOPE From “new China” wing Hing and Co. Panama City, Republic of Panama. On the reverse side of the envelope are a lot of notes written in pencil, as well as a two cent stamp and post office cancellation.

The four green revenue stamps are still attached to one another. However, they do have some condition issues as you can see in the pictures including creasing. The reverse side has some dirt markings, but does appear to still have some of its original gum on the reverse side, I have listed them as used because they are not in mint condition. However, I will leave the collector to decide on their own of their status.

Thi lot is from the George H Schumacher family of which I purchased these at his daughters estate after she passed away. Her husband was Hoke Bullard, Jr., a long time decision in the town of Wilson North Carolina. George served in both World War I and World War II mostly as a quartermaster in the United States army.

I will have several photographic listings of George Schumacher of his time of service in the United States Army, which include his time at Fort Devens from 1919-1921, the Panama Canal zone in 1925, the 1930’s in Atlanta, and throughout his service through World War II.
