The back of board dose has water marks from milling but that will sand off and is why the back looks so dirty. We do wipe our boards off now and clean them after milling and before drying. This was just one of our early cuts when we were getting started. One end of the board does have a slight bow (SEE PHOTOs). The ends of the board have been painted to prevent splitting of the wood (SEE PHOTOs). Paint will be easy to sand or cut off. Back of board dose have water marks from milling. This can be sanded or scrubbed off. Our future boards will not have this. We are putting extra work into cleaning them right after cutting.
