This iPad version was released by Apple 10/22/2014, support for this model was discontinued 3/21/2017. Software version IOS 15.8.2 is not upgradeable to IOS 16.0.0.  Applications requiring 15.8.2 are compatible. Any application above the installed operating IOS are not compatible.
