For sale here is a
shirt from the Moschino label, done during Jeremy Scott’s tenure at the label.
I believe this particular shirt comes from 2015 based on the tag. Moschino
started in the early 80s, with Scott’s time at the label running from 2013 to 2023.
Scott’s run was highly influential, combining excellent tailoring and skills with
high quality materials and a tongue in cheek sense of humor.
This shirt is
definitely in line with Scott’s sense of humor. It is a solid white tee with a “shirt
happens” print on the front. This is a reference to the 1980s trend of “shit
happens” shirts. You don’t necessarily need to be aware of this, and the graphic
print works well with pretty much everything.
Everything else here
is pretty straightforward. Material is a high quality 100% cotton knit, light
in weight and ideal for the warmer weather. Neck tag is labeled “Moschino
couture!”.
Size is labeled an
XS. This is an oversize fit and works well for a men’s medium. I measure the
chest at 20”, shoulders at 20” and length at 26”. The shirt comes in lightly
used, very good shape. There is some general wear and a small stain on the left
side, but nothing too major or noticeable. Made in Portugal.
