Vintage 1940-'50s Atomic Starburst Embellished Glass Christmas Tree Topper.

I believe this rare find to be German and made of mercury glass. Measuring approx 10" tall and 2.5" round at its widest point.

One side of the topper has a large atomic star design, with a large red plastic gem bead and 8 smaller beads around. The opposite side has 3 smaller stars, with 3 beads. There are other decorative elements all around.

In overall good vintage condition. As expected, there are some flaws and print loss. There is also a sloughing off of some apparent frosting happening, which is allowing more of the silver to show through.

There are no cracks or chips found.
