Louis Henry Dupray ou Henri Dupray, né le 3 novembre 1841 à Sedan et mort le 17 avril 1909 à Paris, est un peintre, graveur et illustrateur français. Il est connu principalement pour ses peintures d'histoire et plus particulièrement de scènes militaires. Il devient l’élève des peintres Léon Cogniet et Isidore Pils aux Beaux-Arts de Paris. Dès le début de sa carrière artistique, Dupray se spécialise dans la représentation de sujets militaires, ne se consacrant que très occasionnellement à l'élaboration de portraits. À partir de 1863, il expose régulièrement au Salon et devient, dès 1865, membre de la société des aquafortistes. Le peintre Édouard Manet appartient à son cercle d'amis. Les scènes issues de la Révolution française et des guerres napoléoniennes sont prédominantes dans l'œuvre de Dupray.

Louis Henry Dupray or Henri Dupray, born November 3, 1841 in Sedan and died April 17, 1909 in Paris, was a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He is known mainly for his paintings of history and more particularly of military scenes. He became a pupil of the painters Léon Cogniet and Isidore Pils at the Beaux-Arts in Paris. From the beginning of his artistic career, Dupray specialized in the representation of military subjects, devoting himself only very occasionally to the elaboration of portraits. From 1863, he exhibited regularly at the Salon and became, in 1865, a member of the society of aquafortists. The painter Édouard Manet belongs to his circle of friends. Scenes from the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars are prominent in Dupray's work.
