These shoes have a block heel that is about 7.5cm high. These chunky heels are slightly angular in true vintage style. They are covered in the red leather of the shoe, giving a distinctive look. Please note on one heel a slight tiny tear in the leather (see photos).
These shoes have a distinctive vintage square toe. A striking metallic accent - like a graphic flower reminiscent of Mary Quant and the flower power era - is on either side.
The insoles show these have been much loved and in the left shoe the insole is coming away but could be reglued.
These shoes do show some wear, but not to the detriment of their looks. The cut-out effect on the sides adds a cool touch. One shoe shows that the stitching here has started to undo (see photos). There may be a scuff here or there, but personally I feel they are still in good condition considering their age and having been much loved.
The red exterior is in an alligator / crocodile patent leather look with some embossing/debossing in the leather to give this look. Please bear in mind red is difficult to capture and computer screens may show it as different to the exact hue - for me, these are a mid red - almost like a true red. I cannot see anything written as to whether these are leather but they have the look of leather to me, so I assume they are.
Sized as 7B on the sole, this is vintage sizing, which usually equates to a modern-day UK5 or Continental 38 but I think because these have been worn they are ever so slightly loose on a 5. Please message if you would like exact measurements to get a perfect fit.
