Selling as I have moved to a Chuck Lee Tubaphone.

There is also a Lukas Pool sound file on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmOnpPUojwI

It is worth noticing that Lukas Pool has put a cloth in the back of the pot between the head and the dowel stick on this recording - Chuck Lee banjos tend to be able to produce a lot of volume, so changing bridges, playing style and tunings can produce quite a wide range of different sounds.

Specification : Chuck Lee Custom Prairieville 12 inch Maple Pot Walnut Neck Banjo #211. Brass tone ring, 25.5 inch scale 1 1/4 inch at the nut, railroad spike at 7th fret, renaissance head, ebony capped walnut moon bridge, custom ‘Woman on Flowerpot’ headstock inlay.

This is the description from an email exchange with the maker, Chuck Lee

On banjo #211, it is a Walnut neck.  I believe some of the center veneers are Purpleheart. The rim is Maple with a curly Maple rim cap. The fingerboard is Macassar Ebony, and the scoop is my short Texas shape. The inlay style became known as my Original Inlay Series. It has been called whimsical by people I respect. As mentioned, it was originally sold to Acoustic Music Works in October 2005.”

Chuck Lee banjos are beautifully made and the craftsmanship is superb.

There is plenty of reference material concerning Chuck Lee banjos online.
