For sale is a lovely Contax 137MD Quartz 35mm film camera and standard Yashica 50mm f2 lens. In addition there is a 137 Grip Adapter which greatly improves the feel and handling of the camera and are extremely hard to find nowadays.

The camera functions fully and correctly and has produced some very nice results. Everything is in lovely condition and the body has been re-skinned with Grip-Tac from the US. The lens is very clean and clear with no scratches, dust or fungus and with smooth focus and crisp aperture operation. There is a tiny mark on the focus screen which can be seen through the viewfinder but this obviously doesn’t affect or appear on the image/negative and does not in any way impede the use but mentioned for full clarity.

The motor wind and rewind are smooth and quiet as expected. This is a very solidly built classic camera which is very simple to use and will produce outstanding results for both experienced and beginner photographers who want to enjoy the qualities of 35mm film.
