Santa wall pocket, holding a candle, made in Japan in the 1950's. This jolly fella holds a lit candle in his green mittens, and the top of his head has an open cavity to put greenery or candy canes in. There is a hole in the back so you can hang him on a wall. I don't see any chips or cracks, but there is some paint loss which I've shown in the photos. There is normal wear to the piece and a sticker that reads, "Japan" on the back. Note: I've seen this piece attributed to Norcrest, but I can't find a reference to confirm this.
