This daguerreotype features a handsome young gentleman with freckles wearing an unusual striped waistcoat. He also wore striped trousers and a pinky ring. 

The 1/6 plate is not sealed and the case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself.
