HANDCRAFTED PAPER ART WHITE PEACOCK 3D LAYERED SHADOW BOX PRIMITIVE ART

Based on research, the art of scissor cut paper designs originated in Germany and was called "Scherenschnitte. This handcrafted paper art is contained inside a black shadow box. It is a scissor cut white paper peacock. It is not signed and I cannot attribute it to any artist. It most likely a hobbyist piece. The frame measures 9"x9"x1.75" and all is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, breaks, chips or repairs. (See photos).
