This vintage Sam McDowell pocketknife features a beautifully detailed scrimshaw design of geese in a water scene on a bone handle. The knife has one surgical steel blade and was crafted in Seki-City, Japan. It is a rare and collectible item for any knife enthusiast.

The knife is in good working order, still has a nice snap to the folding. Bone has some minor separation from metal. Blade has minor marks from use. Signed by famous scrimshaw artist Sam McDowell on the handle. Size can be seen in the photographs.
