Lledo Promotional Models

LP6027 - 1920 Ford Model T Van
DH.Trans Express

Jack Odell, one of the founders of the Matchbox diecast company, founded Lledo (Odell backwards) in 1982, and launched the "Days Gone" range of models in 1983, taking over a market previously popularised by the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" series. Models produced by the Enfield-based company became popular among collectors worldwide.

Lledo also specialised in the Promotional market, making models for companies and organisations who wanted to have their own logo or livery on a model for marketing or promotional purposes or to promote or commemorate specific events.

This model depicts the 1920 Ford Model T Van, which was one of the very first models in the "Days Gone" range when it launched in 1983, and proved a popular choice as a promotional model. This one was commissioned by Dutch company DH.Trans BV. This was a limited edition of just 2,000 models.

Excellent pre-owned condition, in original box. Box has very minor wear, and a couple of small stickers affixed to the rear, but no rips, splits or taped-up corners. Model itself is clean and appears to be in near-mint condition, only being taken out of the box to photograph. See photos - all photos show actual item.
