Lledo Models of Days Gone
LP15141 - AEC Regent Double Deck Bus
Lincolnshire Toy & Train Collectors Extravaganza

Jack Odell, one of the founders of the Matchbox diecast company, founded Lledo (Odell backwards) in 1982, and launched the "Days Gone" range of models in 1983, taking over a market previously popularised by the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" series.

Over the following 15 years, Enfield-based Lledo grew to be one of the most successful diecast manufacturers in the world, and were very proud to have continued to manufacture in the UK long after other manufacturers had shifted production to the Far East.

Lledo also specialised in the promotional market, catering for companies and organisations who wanted to have the models with their own livery or logo, for marketing purposes or to promote or commemorate specific events.

This model, issued in 1990, depicts an AEC Regent double-deck bus. Finished in yellow and blue, it was produced to promote the Lincolnshire Toy & Train Collectors Fair.

Good pre-owned condition. Box has minor wear, some light creasing and remnants of an old price sticker affixed to front,  but no serious rips or splits. Model itself is good condition. See photos - all photos show actual item.
