TCP Antiseptic Liquid provides relief for a variety of ailments including sore throats, mouth ulcers and minor injuries. It works by soothing pain and discomfort, as well as fighting infection. The liquid can be used for both internal infections, such as cold, flu and sore throats, as well as external issues like boils, acne, cuts and grazes. It contains halogenated phenols which help to fight infection and provide relief. 

 

What is an antiseptic?

Antiseptics help to fight infection by preventing the growth of harmful microorganisms. They are useful for treating wounds such as cuts and grazes to prevent infection during the healing process. Antiseptics can also be used for mouth and throat infections to prevent a build up of microorganisms that cause pain and infection. 

 

What can TCP Liquid be used for?

TCP can be used for a range of infection and pain. You can dilute it with water and gargle to help relieve sore throat symptoms, including sore throat symptoms associated with cold and flu. It can be dabbed on mouth ulcers to soothe pain and ease the infection. Diluted TCP can also be used to clean cuts, grazes, bites and stings to relieve pain and avoid infection. Finally, TCP can be used to treat boils, spots and pimples. TCP Liquid can be used for so many different types of complaints and illnesses, it’s the perfect addition to any medicine cabinet. 

 

How to use TCP

You can use a TCP for a variety of complaints.

Sore Throats

Dilute TCP with 5 parts water and gargle twice a day to relieve symptoms of sore throats. DO NOT SWALLOW.

Mouth Ulcers

To ease the discomfort caused by mouth ulcers, dab undiluted TCP onto the ulcers three times a day. If symptoms persist for longer than 14 days, seek medical advice from your GP or a dentist. 

Cuts, grazes, bites and stings

Dilute TCP with an equal quantity of water and apply generously to the area. TCP can be used undiluted in emergencies.

Boils, spots and pimples

Dab undiluted TCP on onto the boils, spots or pimples every 4 hours and do NOT cover.
