Shipping: I know shipping has gotten pricey. I can't help that. I try to make it as cheap as possible with box size but I have had a couple of recent items damaged. So I will use bigger boxes and double box when possible. It will add more to the shipping but that is the reality now. Thanks.
Last year I was lucky to attend the private estate sale of the late actress/Academy Award winner actor, Louise Fletcher at her West L.A. condo.
I purchased several bankers boxes of some of her personal papers for tv and movie projects. They've been sitting in my office since then. I am going to start selling them off and I start with her Star Trek Deep Space Nine folder.
This is a thick folder with a tv guide and original slides, photos (8x10's and polaroids) of her in costume/character as Kai Winn. There are facsimiles of her contract with Paramount and other show papers including distribution statements, a magazine and other articles. I don't think there are any original signatures or hand written notes, I believe they are all copies of original correspondence. These were all in the original bankers box as stated and this is the first folder I am putting up. It is a legal folder so it is about 15" long.
Some creasing and wear but it is how she stored them. Some folders have less, some more depending on the project she was working on. I will be listing those soon. The folder with its contents weigh in at 2 lbs 9 oz before packing. The folders and all of the correspondence for "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest" were picked up earlier by a local auction house. The family took her Oscar (as they should) and her grand daughter took the dress that Ms. Fletcher wore to pick up her Oscar for her upcoming wedding which I thought was incredibly sweet.
Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted. Measurements are approximate and may not be totally exact. Keep this in mind when bidding.
