KORG N264:
An excellent vintage 90s synth with awesome patches!

Description
The Korg N264, released in 1996, is a music workstation synthesizer with some remarkable patches. The N264 sound engine is Korg’s famous AI2 (Advanced Integrated System), the same as the engine on the Korg 01/W (which combined several of the AI processing chips found in the M1 and Korg T series). With the AI2, samples are modulated non-linearly, producing rich harmonics as a result of distortion. The 01/W engine is known for its particularly “warm” and “rich” sounds. This N264 has some quite remarkable patches, including "First Light", "Grinding B", and "Max Impact". The N264 features 2 on-board DSPs for powering numerous effects parameters, including EQ, reverb, flanger, chorus, delay, and more. This was the first Korg unit to use the Real Time Pattern Play Record (RPPR), which was used later in nearly all of Korg’s workstations. The N264 is MIDI compatible and includes an XY joystick for excellent real-time modulation control. It features a semi-weighted 76-key keyboard.

This unit is in very good condition, with some signs of age and use, including some  scratches, scuffs and yellowing on the keys (see photos). **Floppy disks cannot be read. The floppy disc drive need a new belt. The unit has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, who has confirmed the integrity and otherwise flawless operation of the unit.
