THE FRONT PANEL: The V shaped font panel is in the plain soft blue blended fabric, down to the front gusset seam. The leg sides are edged along the outside with a blue elasticated braid with horizontal tiny bands of blue braided elastic. The same braid edges the outside of the top and this braid continues around the hip sides to cover the top of the back of the thong stem. This waistband is also the string sides, there is a single join at the top left of the back thong stem. The Christian Dior logo is sewn to the top left hand side of the front panel. THE GUSSET AND THONG STEM: From the front gusset seam to the top of the thong stem is in one piece of the blended blue fabric. The braid edging the front leg sides continues to edge the sides of the gusset and the thong stem up to the top of the back where it is covered by the braided waistband. The gusset is lined with blue Jersey cotton. Across the top of the thong stem, there is the beautiful blue ribbon with its texture and satin sheen, threaded through blue plaited loops which are hidden between the braid and the blue fabric which forms the thong stem. The criss-crossing of the ribbon starts at the bottom and the ends are tied in a one looped bow at the centre top, the metal cuffs at the ribbon ends hang down over the lattice. The composition of the string sided thong is 55%Polyamide, 20%Polyester, 8%Elastane, 17%Cotton. Christian Dior states that this should be hand washed at 30 degrees. Do not bleach, tumble dry or dry clean. Coolest iron if necessary. New and unused. Made in France.
