A traditional and high quality coat made in the UK in Hancock's factory in Scotland.  Hancock have been making vulcanised articles since 1843.  The original Mr Hancock was a colleague of the eponymous Mr Macintosh!  This raincoat is in excellent hardly worn condition.

Single breasted, button fastening; single vented with a button fastening which can be undone for more active wear; underarm grommets and two side pockets.

The coat has a spread collar, buttons go up to neck and there is what I understand is called a "throat latch" which can be buttoned across.

The coat is 100% cotton rubberproofed and can be hand washed.

Lining is detatchable, held in place by buttons, fabric unknown.

This is a high quality item in extremely good condition - doesn't look as though it has been worn at all.
