John Deacons Paperweight

 You are bidding for a superb lampwork paperweight by 'John Deacons' of Crieff in the Strathearn Valley of Perthshire, he started his career in paperweights at Strathearn Glass. He also worked for Perthshire paperweights until 1978. After a short period, trading as 'J' Glass, in 1983 Deacons began his second company, which is where he is still in production in Crieff along with his son.

This example depicts millefiori canes on a blue/green ground with central thistle cane. 

Measures 4.3cm high, diameter: 6.5cms and the weight is 302gms.
Condition is very good, a small scuff mark to top, no chips or bruises.
