Here for sale is the sweetest 19th century small sized doll cradle. Very well made with the rockers cut out and mortised to fit the body, and a dowel is mortised through both rockers as a support. Nice simple form and smaller size. Measures 14 3/4 inches front to back , by 5 1/2 inches across side to side, by 6 5/8 inches tall at the hood. Has the best original red paint with a dry surface. Has a handwritten message underneath as given to a “ Mary Miller , Aug 29 1883 ….. presented by her Grand Pa “. Excellent condition, one of the best doll cradles I have had the pleasure to find !!
