A lima class 52 in playworn condition. Another item I've decided to move on as part of a clear out. This loco I bought with some other stuff about a year ago and have only just got round to looking at it. Its in generally rough condition with the bodywork having a crack in the cab (photo 5)  and 2 broken front valences ( photo 5 and 7) and a chip out of the middle bottom valance (photo 6). I think the plastic on these bodies tends to go brittle with age. it's missing a coupling hook at the non-powered end and some repair has been done on the coupling with glue (photo 8). It has all its buffers but they will need gluing in as they are loose. The actual motor seems fine with good brushes and no missing teeth on the gears . Wheels and commutator have been cleaned, bearings oiled, and had silicone grease put on the gears. There was a missing traction tyre and that has been replaced. The other one I've left on it, but it will come with a  spare replacement. Runs pretty well (see video) on modern Hornby track

Overall its a decent motor with a beat-up body that could possibly be restored with skill as a project.  Alternatively fit with a replacement body, or just as spares for your own fleet.
