Measures around 25 cm x 25 cm (visible painting) on a slightly larger board. 

A rare original painting by the multi-talented Stanshall, who studied art at the Central School of Art and Design prior to co-founding The Bonzo Dog Band and who was, let it not be forgotten, two separate gorillas.

A self-portrait, we think, but hard to be certain: a truly splendid piece, in any event.

From the collection of Vivian's son, Rupert, and sold with a CoA to that effect.

Picture will be sent to buyers from outside the UK at a cost of £35
