This auction is for an attractive, Late Victorian 15ct Gold Diamond Cluster Stick Pin. The pin head is set with 11x natural old cut diamonds within a round claw cluster setting

The head of the pin unscrews which can be converted into a shirt collar stud with the correct fitting

Judging by the construction of the piece it would be fair to assume that this pin was made in the late Victorian period, circa 1900

Hallmarks/ Standard of Gold / Materials:

There are no hallmarks or gold marks

The pin head acid and stem tests to an approximate 15ct gold standard

Measurements / Weights:

The pin head is 7.2mm in width

The pin head is 7.6mm in height

The pin head has an approximate maximum depth of 9.8mm (including the curvature of the central diamond)

The length of the entire pin including the head is 56.8mm

The total weight of the item is 2.25 grams approximately

Internal / External Marks: The stones are bright and have some minor inclusions. There are a few abrasions to the side of the diamond to the central, left stone. The diamonds are off-round in shape

Condition:

The item is very, good condition. There are some surface marks/scratches/tarnishing to the gold and the surface of the diamonds, commensurate with age and use. The item does not have any hallmarks or gold marks, but acid tests to an approximate 15ct gold standard. The diamonds are bright and have some inclusions. There are a few abrasions to the side of the diamond to the central, left stone. The claws on the stones have some wear (particularly to the central, left diamond - see photo) but the diamonds appear secure within the setting. The central, right diamond is slightly unevenly set. The central part of the stem appears to have had a repair in the past

This item is a very nice piece, very wearable

Postage

I dispatch all items within two days of payment being received. I use good quality packaging materials to insure the safe arrival of your purchase. I try to be as reasonable as possible with postage but owing to security reasons and the value of this item, I will only post as Royal Mail Special Delivery (within the UK) at a charge of £7.50. I will not accept any responsibility for damage during delivery or late arrival of items due to the shortcomings of the delivery service provider.

Please note I will only send items to countries where I can obtain tracking information and delivery confirmation.

For security reasons, upon payment please ensure that the paypal payment address is the same as the ebay check-out screen address. I do not send to P.O. Box addresses.
