This daguerreotype features a striking older gentleman posed looking away from the camera. 

The 1/9 plate has been resealed by a previous owner with a brown tape and it measures about 2 x 2.5 inches. The image is not housed in a case. Some of the dust specks are on the glass. Two corners of the preserver are split.
