Nikon Reflex Nikkor 1000mm f/11 Lens (Manual focus, mirror, fixed aperture).

Poor cosmetics.  Countless dings and scratches. See photos.  The felt lining of the hood is good for the most part.  There is a silver dollar sized spot that shows some wear, but it is still black.

Glass is fine. There are two visible coating marks on the front element.  The larger one is in the area that is blocked off by an internal mirror, so it is purely cosmetic.  The smaller is like a cleaning mark or scratch, about 1/4" long.  In the two closeup photos of the front element, it is about 10 o'clock, near the center mirror cover.

One of these two closeup photos of the front element was taken with a speedlight pointing directly into the lens.  It shows the dust on the front element, and the magnified image of the dust reflected by the mirror.  What the lens looks like in person is more light the other front element photo, mostly clear with a few specks of dust.

Focus is smooth, tripod collar rotates and locks.  Rear filter included.

Generic rear cap included.  I don't have a front cap, so there is a Bahtinov mask for use as a lens protector.  It may be useful for astrophotography.

Two sample photos.  The birds were backlit and were underexposed, but it does give some indication of what the lens can do (FX format camera).  The moon was on a D7100 (DX Format), which gives the lens and effective 1500mm focal length.  Not every "moon shot" ends up clear, the atmosphere has a big influence.
